Best Care LLC will provide Mentorship services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) living in the community. Mentorship services support Persons Receiving Services (PRS) to develop self-advocacy skills. Service delivery can include exposing individuals to community environments and experiences; allowing individuals to interview potential providers or generic support professionals available to them; and assist individuals with participation on private/public boards, advisory groups or commissions. Best Care LLC encourages individuals to design and determine their goals and objectives and assists them to utilize Mentorship services effectively, efficiently, and to their full potential. Best Care LLC will provide Mentorship services in the community at the time and location chosen by the individual.
Mentorship services are intended to support participating individuals to become more knowledgeable and confident self-advocates. In addition, services will encourage individuals to develop and exercise the skills necessary to make informed decisions and build independence.
